Senior fitness classes and senior exercise with FamFit

FamFit’s outdoor exercise classes for seniors are effective, fun and social training. The training is based on the senior’s body and challenges after a long life. The training consists of functional training where we use the body’s own weight and simple means to make the training effective and functional. Therefore, everyone, regardless of level, can participate in the training.

Community is important at FamFit – not least among the seniors where there is always an exceptional atmosphere and a strong sense of unity. At the same time, many of our seniors are diligent in using our “Class training for all” which mixes all members across age groups and everyone leaves with sweat on their brow and a smile on their face. The senior classes are basically for those over 60 years old – but all FamFit members are welcome to join these life-affirming senior exercise classes.

Senior training

The class focuses on strength, mobility, balance and heart rate. Functional exercises with your own body weight and strength exercises with elastic bands form the foundation of the workout combined with heart rate and cardio series that give you something to puff about.

Senior Powerwalk

Focuses more on fitness and heart rate. Here the training consists of powerwalk series and running (for those who can and want to). We do small intervals and sequences so it’s both fun and manageable – but make no mistake… you will be challenged. As always, there will be strength and mobility exercises along the way.

Class training for EVERYONE

Is the team that welcomes all FamFit members to the same training session. All age groups come together for a fun and effective class – where the grandchild can challenge both parents and grandparents. Always lots of laughs in these classes. As the training is based on scalable exercises and endurance training, you will always be challenged and pushed – regardless of level.
